Masters Champ is an Embarrassment

Trevor Immelman hits a 40 yard drive.

The "big Fijian" aka Vijay Singh recently took home the Bridgestone Championship in Akron, Ohio.  Needless to say, no one really gives a sh*t.  What's really Not Talked About Enough is the fact that the reigning masters champion, Trevor Immelman, hit a 40 yard drive off the #1 tee box on Sunday.  And no, it did not hit a tree, person, animal, clubhouse, or John Daly.  Trevor simply got under the ball a bit too much and sky-rocketed his drive straight into the air.  Now if this were to take place on a Sunday afternoon at your favorite local municipal course, there's a great chance you wouldn't think twice about it or even bat an eye.  But this is the Master's champion on national television.   What's even more baffling is the fact that he hit his second shot with his pants around his waste and not at his ankles.  If you are trying to think what this is comparable to, we here at Not Talked About Enough have composed a list…

  • Ronaldo scoring in his own net.
  • MJ air-balling a free throw in OT of Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
  • Roger Federer double faulting on match point at Wimbledon.
  • Adam Vinateri missing an extra point.
  • Mariano Rivera walking in the winning run during a tied game in extra innings.
  • Michael Phelps forgetting to touch with two hands during the Butterfly this weekend in Beijing.
  • Jim Nantz not making a ridiculous metaphor after Tiger hits a putt to win the Masters.
